It is hard to imagine that on February 2, 2017, we will be celebrating the Andrea Rose Teodosio Foundation’s fourth Angel ART Auction! We are blessed to have worked with many of you over the past four years, gotten to know you, to recognize your work and be personally inspired by your kindness and talent.
Andrea was a bright, energetic and motivated young woman of twenty-two when her life was lost in a skiing accident at Snowshoe Mountain in West Virginia. Despite our tragic loss, the spirit of Andrea’s love of life, caring for others -particularly the elderly and children- and kindness, lives on through the efforts of The Andrea Rose Teodosio Foundation.
The Andrea Rose Teodosio Foundation is a nonprofit organization that works to demonstrate the values Andrea held close to her heart, including assisting the underprivileged and elderly, actively addressing environmental issues and promoting community service and education. In pursuit of its mission, The Foundation has established The Rose Project, gathering gently worn prom and homecoming dresses and providing them to young women in need. The Foundation also provides college scholarships through the Italian-American Societies and raised over $90,000.00 for local charities in memory of Andrea.
We would be extremely honored to include a piece of your art in the February Angel ART Auction. While the theme of the event is Angels, your work need not reflect Angels. Design, medium and style is entirely your inspiration as is weight and size. Finished art must be available by January 12th in order to appear in the event’s program.
As an Angel Artist for this event, we would like you attend the Auction as our guest – your name will be on a list at the door so please come spend the evening with us. We will also publish your name and the name of your piece in our Angel ART Auction Program. Your Artist bio, including your contact information, will be displayed next to your piece (must be submitted by January 12th) – you are welcome to bring business cards as well.
