We are officially announcing that the 2017 All – City Musical on June 16 & 17, 2017 will be Mary Poppins!
We are very excited to produce the All City Musical again.

The Auditions for the Akron Civic Theatre’s All – City Musical

Auditions held:
Monday, February 27, 2017 - 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Tuesday, February 28, 2017 - 6:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Call backs on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 - 7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.

Auditions will be held at The Akron Civic Theatre.
All performances will be held at the Akron Civic Theatre in Downtown Akron.

Directed by Mark A. Zimmerman Music direction by Barbara Bellamy
Choreography by Tara Tober

Performances to take place:
June 16 - 17, 2017

Cast information: A wide array of roles for females and males.

Many backstage and technical positions available for students.

Auditions are open to current students, grades 9 - 12 of Summit County
Public and private high schools and age appropriate home schooled students.

Auditions are by appointment only and can be made by emailing: AllCityMusicalAkron@gmail.com

All performers should prepare a Broadway - style song of at least 12 bars but not more than 16.
A movement audition will be held as part of callbacks. Each person auditioning
should be prepared to complete a list of all potential schedule conflicts.

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.

Who should attend?
Nonprofit and for-profit leadership and marketing/communication professionals interested in learning about SEEN and participating in a conversation about the importance of authenticity and representation in our work.
