Calling local and regional LGBTQ artists!
In collaboration with LGBT Arts Fest, Akron Soul Train is hosting a juried art exhibition for LGBTQ artists at Hive Mind DIY gallery in Akron! Juror of the exhibition will be announced soon. Application closes August 26th at midnight. Artists will be notified via email by September 10th.
The exhibition will run from October 1st through October 31st, 2018 and will be on view to the public during scheduled hours, to be announced, or by appointment. The artists' reception will be on October 18th.
Artists may submit up to 3 works for jury. 2D (displayed on wall) and small sculptural (displayed on pedestal) works only. All work must be ready for installation upon delivery or it will not be included in the exhibition. Artists will be responsible for shipping to Akron and Akron Soul Train will cover return shipping. Art drop off dates will be released at a later date.
