The Kenmore Imagineer is a free interactive mural project in the form of a coloring book, which will culminate in a public art exhibit in February of 2018. There is a $100 prize for best entry for each location in the coloring book, and the Kenmore Neighborhood Alliance (KNA) has agreed to fully finance the production of one mural entry for Kenmore Boulevard.
Participants can download the full coloring book or individual pages for free at http://artxlove.com/blog/imagineer
Entries can be submitted at Kenmore Branch Library, Kenmore Public Schools, contact@artxlove.com, or by tagging @playakron #kenmoreimagineer on Facebook/Instagram/Twitter.
Entries are due January 1, 2018, to be guaranteed consideration. Emailed submissions may also be considered through January 31st, provided they are high-resolution scans. Physical copies can also be mailed to our studio at 157 King James Way, Akron, OH.
Entries will be judged on originality, inspiration, and merit. Artistic polish is not required. Poetry, photography, music, dance, theatre, and sculpture can also be submitted.
