This course is for those interested in the art of puppetry and our friends of the sock and felt variety. In 4 weeks, students will learn fundamentals of puppetry, how to build puppets, and how to act through your puppets. Students will work together in teams to create different puppet plays and will present for a final puppet showcase and students will be able to bring home each puppet they create to continue their puppet stories at home.

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
