2nd Friday Art Hop

With a nod to the Main Street road construction project, some of the stops on the 2nd Friday Art Hop on June 9th are taking a look at art construction and creation.

The Red Twig will have fused glass art of Carol Comer along with treats from Nosh Creative Catering.

MOD: Matter of Design will show various local and national artists.

Viva Bene Gourmet is hosting Hudson watercolor artist Mary McKee DiStefano.

Uncommon Art is throwing an Arty Construction party with construction-themed refreshments, hard hats, and artwork that’s “under construction”.

Open Door Coffee debuts their Barista Gallery with work from employee/artists Shelby Johnson and Elaina Workley.

Hudson Fine Art & Framing brings back Rubber City Prints and their portable press. Guests can try their hand at printmaking for just $5.

Fair Trade on Main is showing watercolors by Hudson favorite Hilary Sheeter.

Suburban Sit salutes local talent by featuring “Local Legends” who create one-of-a-kind art.

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.

Nonprofit and for-profit leadership and marketing/communication professionals interested in learning about SEEN and participating in a conversation about the importance of authenticity and representation in our work.
