The inspirational message of the ‘Ode to Joy’— imploring mankind to live in love and fellowship—is one of the glories of Western art. The Third Piano Concerto moves resolutely from darkness into light, mirroring Beethoven’s heroic ideals.

Tickets for Akron Symphony Orchestra concerts are $20, $35, $45 and $55. Tickets for the Akron Symphony Chorus are $15 general admission with student tickets 50% off.

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
