Come enjoy the opening celebration of Don Drumm Studio & Gallery’s annual Spring Show featuring Akron-born artists – Elisa Drumm Van Auken and Matt Miller.

Meet this daring duo at our SPRING SHOW OPEN HOUSE Saturday, April 28 from 10 am to 5 pm.
Show runs through May 26. Every Thursday night starting on May 3, who can browse and enjoy a glass of wine at our Sip & Shops 5-8 pm.

These homegrown talents create with in-your-face color and audacious design. They make Bold Statements!

Elisa, eldest daughter of artists Don and Lisa Drumm, left Akron to study at Rhode Island School of Design then stayed on the East Coast. A first job in NYC designing textiles for surf wear is reflected in her wild style today. Her new limited edition/one-of-a-kind collection of whimsical, wooden characters is exuberantly hand-painted in her studio near Boston. Each unique face has its own personality, name and bio.

Also featured is edgy artist Matt Miller, who earned a BFA at The University of Akron. Now a professional painter, muralist, illustrator and printmaker, he creates surrealist pop images inspired by mythology, super hero comics, vintage rock n’ roll ... view more »

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
