Calidore Quartet (Concert)

Calidore Quartet is:

  • Jeffrey Myers and Ryan Meehan, violins
  • Jeremy Berry, viola
  • Estelle Choi, cello

Making international headlines by winning the $100,000 grand prize of the 2016 M-Prize International Chamber Music Competition — the largest prize for chamber music in the world — Calidore is one of today’s most in-demand young chamber ensembles. Adding to its growing prestige: This year Calidore won the 2018 Avery Fisher Career Grant.

Israeli-born pianist Inon Barnatan, “one of the most-admired pianists of his generation (New York Times), is the New York Philharmonic’s first artist-in-association and will become music director of the La Jolla Music Society Summerfest starting in in 2019.

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
