Chakra Workshop with Julie Norman & Kristie Leahy

Presented by Lifesource Yoga & Bodyworks at Lifesource Yoga & Bodyworks, Akron OH

Mar 12 2017
Chakra Workshop with Julie Norman & Kristie Leahy

All yoga teachers & students are invited to this insightful workshop developed to bring greater knowledge & understanding of the chakra system and how working with it can bring about a better sense of self to enhance life on all levels. While the topics of chakra and body energy are often covered in YTT programs, it’s often difficult for training program developers to find enough time in a crowded syllabus to cover the subject in an in-depth way. This workshop is a wonderful opportunity to fill the knowledge gap in a field of study that students are increasingly finding interest in.

Topics covered include: 1.) The Sanskrit name & meaning of each chakra as well as its relationship to physical anatomy & function, 2.) The energetic, emotional, mental & spiritual attributes of each chakra. 3.) Recognizing signs of imbalance or blockage in chakras in asana practice, breath practices, mantras, and meditation and learning techniques to restore harmony to each energy center.
