So stinking excited to be a part of the Signal Tree Fest hosted by The Devil Strip! Join smARTStudio for a collaborative community chalk mural at the Akron Children’s Museum from 10-noon, Saturday July 29 #getsmART

{via Signal Tree Fest} Most of Signal Tree Fest is for grown-ups and those who pretend to be, but FREEPLAY is just for kids and their families. The Devil Strip partnered with the Akron Children’s Museum and Lock 3 for a really cool deal.

The FREEPLAY PASS includes:
+ All-day admission to the Akron Children’s Museum
+ Creative kids workshop with smARTStudio
+ Ice skate rental for “Christmas in July” rink
+ Lunch and a beverage provided by Lock 3
+ Plus, get your photo taken in a real All-American Soap-Box
Derby car and meet the Akron Rubberducks mascots Webster, Homer and Orbit!

That’s not all! We’ll have human foosball and “Christmas In July” ice skating rink.

Lock 3 occupancy is 5,000.
Shirt and shoes required for admittance.
For concerts that have an admission charge tickets are available at the gate the night of the show and need to be paid in cash. No advance sales. Children 48 inches and under admitted FREE!

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.

Nonprofit and for-profit leadership and marketing/communication professionals interested in learning about SEEN and participating in a conversation about the importance of authenticity and representation in our work.
