Community Art Showcase

Come see a unique collection of mobile art photography of our beautiful city, captured by over 80 Akron residents.

The Mustard Seed is proud to present a unique community photography show in both our Highland Square and Montrose Cafes. The Mobile Art Showcase is a community-based photography collection of imagery around Akron, taken solely in mobile devices. The artistic imagery displayed in these shows is as unique as the eye that captured these moments. Dozens of Akronites’ photographs of our community will be on display through May 21st. We will be celebrating the collections of these unique works with live local music this month and we hope you’ll join us.

Highland Square Cafe’s community celebration is Saturday, April 22nd from 7-9pm, with the Gypsy Jazz of Moustache Yourself.  Montrose Cafe’s community celebration is Sunday, April 29th from 7-9pm with Blues, Jazz, Rock and Soul music of Erin Nicole Neal & The Chill Factors.
