Join us as master guitarist & national touring artist (Joey DeFrancesco, Christian McBride), Akron’s own – Dan Wilson, returns to BLU celebrating the release of his all-new album, “Balancing Act,” recorded LIVE at BLU earlier this summer! Featuring Theron Brown, Kip Reed, James Johnson III, Sam Blakeslee.

On June 23, 2017, Dan recorded his second album, “Balancing Act,” Live at BLU Jazz+ featuring some of the most talented, world-class musicians on the scene including Sullivan Fortner on piano, Ivan Taylor on bass, Xavier Breaker on drums, and Akron’s own, Sam Blakeslee on trombone.
