Film: Lost Voices of The Great War

This new, locally-produced documentary recounts the experiences of Summit County residents during World War I. Combining dramatic first-person accounts, narration, interviews and music, the film brings to life period letters, films, photographs and documents from local archives. Panel discussion to follow.

Lost Voices of the Great War is a production of Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens and The University of Akron Archival Services. This program is made possible, in part, by Ohio Humanities, a state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
