Free Adult Workshop to Craft a Unique Frame

Join talented local artists with the Alliance for the Visual Arts for fun and free Saturday workshops as part of the annual Kaleidoscope Holiday Show at Summit Artspace on East Market, 140 E. Market St., Akron.

Adults will get creative with fiber artist Linda Everhard who will be leading a free workshop to create mixed media photo frames out of old books. The free craft session is Saturday, Dec. 16, noon-3 pm at Summit Artspace.  Linda will supply paper, paint, stencils, stamps and fabric. Participants will need to bring a photo and any embellishments they might want to add.

The workshop is free and sponsored by the Alliance for the Visual Arts as a special event during its annual Kaleidoscope Holiday Show.
