Free Adult Workshop to Make Your Own Greeting Card

Join talented local artists with the Alliance for the Visual Arts for fun and free Saturday workshops as part of the annual Kaleidoscope Holiday Show at Summit Artspace on East Market, 140 E. Market St., Akron.

And you thought crayons were just for kids? Artists Barb Johns and Pat Newhauser will show adults how to make a greeting card using melted crayons. Just bring your creativity for this free workshop on Saturday, Dec. 16, noon-3 pm at Summit Artspace. Instructors will furnish supplies.

The workshop is free and sponsored by the Alliance for the Visual Arts as a special event during its annual Kaleidoscope Holiday Show.
