Gallery of Framing, LLC - “Local Artist Series"

Throughout the month of July, we will be featuring a selection of Beth’s wonderful watercolors of beaches, sunsets and palm trees, all painted while Beth was vacationing  in the beautiful Turks and Caicos Islands in the Caribbean.

“Staying on one of the less developed islands with minimal commercial amenities required my packing any art tools and materials I would need during a month’s time.  For efficiency I chose a miniature water color set. Many of the paintings required my squatting on the beach to execute them. The small format was freeing for me and I enjoyed the fact that water scenes were being expressed by using a water medium.” ~ Beth

Beth’s work has been seen in numerous group shows and juried exhibitions throughout Ohio and is in the permanent collections of the Rainbow Babies and Children of University Hospitals, Akron Children’s Hospital, The Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Embassy Suites Hotels, DeBartolo Corp. and The Virgin Island’s Greenhouse in St. Thomas.

Beth received her BFA from the Cleveland Institute of Art and earned her MA in Art Therapy from Ursuline College in Pepper Pike. Beth lives and works in Medina, Ohio.
