IntraScope: A Pop Up Series

“IntraScope: A Pop Up Series” invites you to view the work of Jen Jones. Our mission is to highlight various artists showcasing their work in a variety of environments with the opportunity to engage in public discussion with the creators.

The work of Jen Jones will be on display encompassing a body of large format mixed media paintings and drawings on paper. Jen Jones has been featured in Summit Art Space in Akron Ohio, Works on Paper at the Whaa Center, NYC, and Stephon Romano Gallery, Brooklyn, NYC. A live interview will take place for an opportunity to hear from the artist about her life, work, and inspirations as an artist living in Akron, Ohio.

Please join us at The Bit Factory inside of The Akron Global Business Accelerator at 526 S. Main St, Akron, Ohio 44311 Friday, April 1st from 6-9 pm and Saturday, April 2nd from 6-10 pm with live Interview beginning at 7:30 pm. This free event is open to the public with complimentary food and beverages.

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.

Nonprofit and for-profit leadership and marketing/communication professionals interested in learning about SEEN and participating in a conversation about the importance of authenticity and representation in our work.
