Free artist talk with textiles artist, John Paul Morabito at Kent State’s School of Art.
Join us on Friday, February 2 for an artist talk with visiting artist in textiles, John Paul Morabito. The talk begins at noon at Kent State’s Center for the Visual arts. Visiting artists and scholars from all over the country come to Kent to give presentations on their work throughout the year. All lectures take place in room 165 at the Center for the Visual Arts (325 Terrace Drive, Kent, Ohio). Free and open to all.
John Paul Morabito is a Chicago-based artist and educator working through the intersection of contemporary art and hand weaving. He has exhibited widely including Document, Chicago, IL; The Center for Craft Creativity and Design, Asheville, NC; Dorksy Gallery Curatorial Projects, Long Island City, NY; Bakalar and Paine Galleries, Boston, MA; and John Michael Kohler Arts Center, Sheboygan, WI.
