KIDS SUMMER ART CAMP: The World Around Us - Morning Session

5 DAY CAMP

June 18 – June 22
The World Around Us
Explore the World Around Us Through Art!
Elementary Grade Summer Camp

A hands-on arts enrichment experience not to be missed this summer!

Day 1:  Riverwalk then Impressionism and Movement with Monet Waterlily’s. Acrylic and fabric on canvas.
Day 2:  Creatures of Cuyahoga Falls. Nature walk and sketch, then sculpture creations of butterfly’s, bugs, birds and creatures of our backyard!
Day 3:  Plants, Van Gogh’s Sunflowers – making a still life with plants we find outside.
Day 4:  Map Making Mixed Media & treasure hunt / surface decoration on Ceramics
Day 5:  Outdoor Detective! Drawing up-close outdoors & Northeast Ohio Rocks

Additional time info:

All supplies included in cost. Please wear ‘painting’ clothing, that is allowed to get dirty.

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
