Ed Asner – The seven time Emmy-award winning star is most known for his role as Lou Grant on the Mary Tyler Moore Show, but he is also the proud father and grandfather of what he refers to as his “snowflakes,” five wildly different but beautiful young men on the autism spectrum. Matt Asner, Mr. Asner’s son, has three children with autism, and is the Vice President of Development for the Autism Society of America. Moderated by Akron Beacon Journal publisher Mark Cohen, join this conversation about life, autism, and advocacy…Hollywood style.

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
