Bring the whole family out on President’s Day for an art project based on the Pop Art master Andy Warhol.
Learn about how Warhol popularized silk screen printing in the 60s and why it was so important to his art. Plus, make a printed art piece of your own!
“Like the Greats” is a new family-oriented educational series by Akron Soul Train that features an art project based on famous artists. This class has multilevel learning and is great for all ages, although the recommended grade level is kindergarten through 5th grade. The series will be lead by Nyki Fetterman, Art Education major at The University of Akron’s Myers School of Art.
