MARC LEE SHANNON Akron native and veteran studio and touring guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Marc Lee Shannon left home at 19 to attend the Guitar Institute in Hollywood, at the time when the school featured legendary teachers, clinicians, and the cream of the LA studio scene players. After 11 years of sessions and gigs with many top Alternative Country, Rock, and Soul Artists, he came back home to Ohio. He wound up playing with North East Ohio’s favorite son – Michael Stanley – and has been a member of his band since 1994. 23 years and 22 records later he is still making music on Electric and Acoustic Guitar, 12 String, Mandolin, and the Godin Inuk, with one of Ohio’s top drawing acts.
