Miniature Trinkets & Perpetual Prints

Presented by Rubber City Prints, Inc. at Rubber City Prints, Inc., Akron OH

May 13 - 14 2017
Miniature Trinkets & Perpetual Prints

Print & jewelry, how could you go wrong?

Learn not only how to make miniature prints, but turn your plates into wearable jewelry! Learn 4 processes on tiny plates! Etching, soft ground, aquatint & open bite are extremely fun intaglio techniques. You will learn each of these on 1×1 inch plates, then create a plate with a combination of techniques. This is a great way to learn intaglio processes in 1 workshop, and create lovely trinkets to take home & wear!

Krista Rickert, Executive Director, holds her BA in Printmaking and BA in Psychology from Kent State University.  She began working for RCP in 2014 and became Director in 2015.  Under Krista’s supervision RCP has significantly increased its community outreach programs and has succeeded in creating exhibition opportunities for local artists.  She continues to work with interns and volunteers to further involve the community in the non-profit arts organization.
