Monotype Screenprinting with Watercolor

Presented by Rubber City Prints, Inc. at Rubber City Prints, Inc., Akron OH

Monotype Screenprinting with Watercolor

Beautiful painterly prints!

Watercolor screenprinting will utilize a photo or drawing as a base for you to work from. You will paint & draw directly on the screen with watercolor. One it is dry, you will pull transparent base through to print the image. This will produce a series of varying images. These are great to work back into with paint, pencils, and other drawing materials.

Krista Rickert, Executive Director, holds her BA in Printmaking and BA in Psychology from Kent State University.  She began working for RCP in 2014 and became Director in 2015.  Under Krista’s supervision RCP has significantly increased its community outreach programs and has succeeded in creating exhibition opportunities for local artists.  She continues to work with interns and volunteers to further involve the community in the non-profit arts organization.
