Naturalization Records and Researching Jewish Genealogy with Kenneth Bravo

The Special Collections Division of the Akron-Summit County Public Library and the Summit County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society present “Naturalization Records and Researching Jewish Genealogy” with Kenneth Bravo.

Ken is a frequent lecturer on several genealogical topics. He is currently president of the International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies and past president of the Jewish Genealogy Society of Cleveland, as well as a member of the Ohio Genealogical Society and the Association of Professional Genealogists.

10:30-11:30 “Locating and Using Your Ancestor’s Post-1906 Naturalization Record”
Naturalization records after 1906 contain a great deal of useful genealogical information. This presentation will assist the researcher in locating copies of these records and following up on results.

11:45-12:45 “The Nuts and Bolts of Jewish Genealogy”
