Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist Program Open House

Do you have a passion for the natural world and for sharing it with others? Join us for an open house to learn about becoming an Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist. Applications for the OCVN program will be available.

The OCVN program offers 40 hours of combined classroom and field instruction by experts in science and natural history. Participants receive certification upon completion of 40 hours of approved volunteer work. This program is presented in cooperation with The Ohio State University, Summit County Extension. Open house is free; registration fee (listed below) is due when selected into this program. OCVN applications will be available at the open house, and applicants will be notified of acceptance into the program in early February 2018. Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
