About Cuyahoga Valley Institute
The Cuyahoga Valley Institute is a series of adult education programs that provide meaningful immersive opportunities to engage with the valley’s natural surroundings, while promoting a deeper understanding of the history, wildlife, and geography of Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist Program – Open House

Do you have a passion for the natural world and for sharing it with others? Join us for an open house to learn about becoming an Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist. Applications for the OCVN program will be available.

OCVN Program

The OCVN program offers 40 hours of combined classroom and field instruction by experts in science and natural history. Participants receive certification upon completion of 40 hours of approved volunteer work. This program is presented in cooperation with The Ohio State University, Summit County Extension.
