One Piano, Four Hands: Westhuizen Duo

Presented by Music from the Western Reserve at Christ Church Episcopal, Hudson OH

Apr 10 2016
One Piano, Four Hands: Westhuizen Duo

Our sixth concert of the season is Sunday, April 10 at 5 pm. Join us for One Piano, Four Hands: Westhuizen Duo.

The interplay of two distinct perspectives that dovetail, as if by magic, into a singular and transformative experience: That is the Westhuizen Duo. Sophié van der Westhuizen plays the treble parts. Her husband, Pierre van der Westhuizen, handles the lower notes. Together, they have been described as “music-making that rewards you seventy times seven.” It is hard to argue with those numbers. Or the results. A technique as intimate and engulfing as the fates that bring two souls together. And for those in attendance, an evening of music that promises to make the uncommon unforgettable.
