We look forward to seeing you at PechaKucha, Volume IX at the Akron Civic Theatre.

The doors will open at 7:00PM and the program begins at 8:00PM, with light refreshments and a cash bar available.

We’re thrilled to announce Volume IX presenters:

What’s PechaKucha?
PechaKucha speakers give quick presentations that include 20 images shown for 20 seconds each for a total of six minutes and forty seconds. And the results? A no time to lose, compelling performance fueled by intricately harmonized stories and images.

PechaKucha literally translates as “chit chat” in Japanese. Since its inception, PechaKucha Akron has brought unique ways of sharing stories and inspiration to audiences ranging in size from 100 to 400.

Limited VIP Admission, $20: VIP admission include preferred, on-stage seating as well as one drink ticket.
General Admission, $5

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
