Perkins Stone Mansion and John Brown House Tours

A Greek revival built in 1837; the Mansion was the home of Simon Perkins, Jr., the son of Akron’s co-founder Simon Perkins.

Visitors will see displays featuring vintage clothing and styles, plus a variety of toys from the era and a few interactive opportunities.

Regular tour hours will run April 1, 2015-December 19, 2015, Wednesdays through Saturdays from 1-4 p.m.

Tours will include both the Perkins Stone Mansion and the John Brown House, home of the renowned abolitionist.

ADMISSION INFO

Cost is $6.00 per adult, and $4.00 for seniors and $2.00 for students. SCHS members are free.
