“There’s something really freeing about improv…it’s a collective, creative, in-the-moment piece.” – Tatiana Maslany

“Yes, and…” this class will feature fun games designed to teach students the basics of improvisation. Using these skills, the students will work on saying yes, supporting ideas, listening and collaborating to create a world full of dynamic action and fun characters.

PARKING INFO

Lock 3, located in the middle of downtown Akron, is surrounded by several parking decks and a surface lot. The decks include the Summit County Parking Deck on High Street, the O’Neil’s Parking Deck on State Street and the Cascade Parking Facility off of Mill Street. Surface lots are located on W. Bowery Street west of Main Street.

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.
