PORTRAIT WORKSHOP

For INTERMEDIATE TO ADVANCED w/ Mark Giangaspero:

March 17th – 18th  9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Members: $150                                 Non-Members: $175

A portrait is not just a likeness.  This 2-day workshop will cover the artistic elements that make an outstanding portrait.  Design, composition, color, and pose are some of the elements that will be discussed.  This workshop is designed to take your portraiture to the next level.  Intermediate and advanced level students.

Student will be required to bring their own painting and drawing supplies. Class size is limited.

 

Supply List:

REQUIRED

oil or acrylics.  If you already have these, bring what you have.  If not, bring titanium white, ivory black, raw umber, burnt sienna, raw sienna, lemon yellow, cad orange, cad red medium, violet, ultramarine blue, phatlo blue, phatlo green, chrome green, palette, vine charcoal, mineral spirits, paint rag, 14 x 18 or 16 x 20 canvas, 3 filbert bristle brushes  #2, #4 and #6.  ... view more »
