Reader's Series: DRACULA

Presented by Ohio Shakespeare Festival at Ohio Shakespeare Festival, Greystone Hall, Akron OH

Oct 31 2017
Reader's Series: DRACULA

A free reading on Halloween night of a new play based on Bram Stoker’s DRACULA.

Introducing a new series of free readings, hosted on the Henry C. Bishop stage at Greystone Hall. Join us on Halloween night for a totally free, full cast reading of a new script: Dracula, by Joe Pine.

What’s a reading, you ask? The actors will be seated with their scripts on the stage, but there will be sound effects and a narrator who reads stage directions. Close your eyes, and you’ll feel like you’re hearing a radio play.

Not only are these readings a fun way to engage with the community, but they can serve as a workshop-step for titles that might one day appear on the Greystone stage. Come be part of the artistic process!
