THE MAIDS

Presented by Western Reserve Playhouse at Western Reserve Playhouse, Richfield OH

Dec 14 - 16 2018
THE MAIDS

Western Reserve Playhouse and ORMACO present a joint production of Jean Genet’s The Maids, translated from the French by Bernard Frechtman.

Based on a true story in France, the maids escape their doldrums by entering into a vicious game of role play and fantasy. When they attempt to transcend their position in society and overthrow their mistress, they find themselves reeling out of control. Illusion, deception and murder collide in this taut psychological drama. Dawn Sniadak-Yamokoski directs this play.
