The University of Akron School of Dance, Theatre, and Arts Administration is looking for actors, musicians, and dancers to audition for the Spring Theatre Mainstage production of Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespeare and directed by Terence Cranendonk. A timeless classic, this romantic tragedy follows the story of two star-crossed lovers and their feuding families in one of the most famous and widely performed plays of all time.
Full-time rehearsals will begin January 22, 2018. Performance dates will be March 8-11, 15-17, and 21. The cast will also be asked to meet a few times in December 2017 and to memorize lines before full-time rehearsals begin. Auditions are open to students and community members.
