UA Theatre Spring Auditions: Romeo & Juliet

Auditions will be held for The University of Akron School of Dance, Theatre, and Arts Administration’s spring theatre production, William Shakespeare’s “Romeo & Juliet.”

The University of Akron School of Dance, Theatre, and Arts Administration is looking for actors, musicians, and dancers to audition for the Spring Theatre Mainstage production of Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespeare and directed by Terence Cranendonk. Full-time rehearsals will begin January 22, 2018. Performance dates will be March 8-11, 15-17, and 21. The cast will also be asked to meet a few times in December 2017 and to memorize lines before full-time rehearsals begin. Auditions are open to students and community members. If you are cast, expect to rehearse Monday through Friday evenings for 3 to 4 hours.
