Uptown Cats at Crisman Park

They were an oldies band playing car shows and private clubs. In 1997 a manager from the N. Canton Holiday Inn heard them play at a local nightclub and gave them their first big break into the hotel circuit. The band then changed direction and began adding music from the 80’s, 90’s, and into the new millennium. All background computer music is sequenced by Bruce Nehlen. Starting the party, The Uptown Cats have a huge song list playing anything from Funk, R&B, Disco, 70s, 80s 90s pop hits, standards, oldies etc. The Uptown Cats produces their own backing arrangements that give them that big show band sound.
