Weekend Workshop: Causing a scene!

This two day workshop will introduce budding actors (ages 6-9) to the building blocks of theatre. A fun, play-centered workshop with a focus on transferable skills including teamwork and concentration

Our talented company members and educators want to share their skills and expertise with the community.  These fun and intensive programs are masterclasses in some of the most exciting elements of theatre. Classes are suitable for all skill levels! 

Causing a scene!

April 22 & 23
10:00am-1:00pm BOTH DAYS

Budding actors will learn the building blocks of theatre in this fun, play-centered workshop. With OSF educator Sarah Coon, Students will explore how to create a character and react to their environment, while learning theatre basics such a stage directions and common phrases. Other activities will focus on transferable skills including teamwork and concentration. Ages 6-9

$75 for two days (6 hours) training, held on the Henry C. Bishop Stage, small class environment.

ADMISSION INFO

Small class environment, two days of training (6 hours total), and on the actual Henry C. Bishop Stage at Greystone Hall.  At $75 per student (or $120 for two students), these classes are a steal!

Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative.
