William Shakespeare's The Tempest

Presented by Rubber City Theatre at The Well CDC, Akron OH

Oct 07 - 23 2016
William Shakespeare's The Tempest

Young lovers, a great sorcerer, a wicked sprite and a powerful storm come together in this magical night of theatre at Rubber City Shakespeare Company.

As the world continues to celebrate the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death, Rubber City Shakespeare Company presents his final solo play. This play, which many scholars believe to be semi-autobiographical is a great salute to the Bard.

Prospero uses his magic to lure his enemies to his island and right the wrongs of the past.
