Wishbone Ash & Savoy Brown with Kim Simmonds

Wishbone Ash, headliner of the show are a British Hard Rock, Blues Rock, and Progressive Rock mixed band that hit it big in the early and mid-1970’s. Some of their popular albums were Wishbone Ash (1970), Pilgrimage (1971), Argus (1972), There’s The Rub (1974), and New England (1976). Their harmonious twin lead guitar format has attracted electric blues fans since Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page played together in Yardbirds; earning them a spot in “Top 20 Guitarists of All Time” by Rolling Stone Magazine.

Openers, Savoy Brown with founder guitarist, Kim Simmonds are one of the earliest British Blues bands. Simmonds helped bring back the blues music movement in the USA and has influenced many other styles of rock music that we recognize today. Don’t miss this trio of legendary bands to take the Cabaret stage this Fall!
