A benefit for The Summit FM’s “Music Alive” and “Rock & Recovery” programs.

Join nearly 20 of Northeast Ohio’s finest vocalists for “Won’t Back Down,” a celebration of the life & music of Tom Petty, on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at EJ Thomas Hall in Akron, OH.

Guest artists, each performing one Tom Petty song, will include:

Singer-songwriter, and lead singer of Shooter Sharp & The Shootouts, Ryan Humbert, is producing the show. An all-star house band for the evening will consist of John Anthony and Erin Vaughn on guitars, Paul Lewis on bass, Ed Davis on drums, Russ Flanagan on keys, and Emily Bates on harmony vocals. Arts & Culture Inclusion Council Presents: Representation Matters- Photography and Ad Spend

In this virtual workshop, Rob Greer, Tyron Hoisten, and Elizabeth Tipton will discuss why representation matters in advertising and content creation, drawing on their recent experience participating in ArtsNow’s SEEN initiative. This panel will be moderated by a member of the Arts & Culture Inclusion Council.

Nonprofit and for-profit leadership and marketing/communication professionals interested in learning about SEEN and participating in a conversation about the importance of authenticity and representation in our work.
