Akron Promise

Akron Promise stitches together existing education support programs and will work to identify any gaps and fill them.  

Using that support network, federal, state, and private funding, the Akron Promise will, for students living in Akron, provide support for a quality education.

For those graduating from high school in Akron, it will provide scholarship money toward required post-secondary education for a fulfilling life and career.  
There are more than 150 other similar programs throughout the United States and these programs are helping to encourage Academic achievement and are a catalyst for economic development.
