Art Break is a social art-making experience. It’s all about giving people the opportunity to take a break from their routine and explore their artistic side. Painting is great for a change – a change of pace, a change of outlook, a change of artwork in your home or office. Taking an art break with friends, family, or co-workers is a wonderful way to have socialize, learn something new, and share the fun experience of putting color to the canvas.
Art Break is also a great creativity-sparker: people have been taught to suppress their creative nature all the time, and so there is potential for massive growth personally for individuals and for the world when we are all more able to access our creative nature, and integrate both the analytical and creative parts of ourselves. A scientist by training and lab manager by day, I personally have experienced a lot of growth in my own field by expanding my life in the creative realm…and besides, it’s just a lot of fun. People need to have fun!
Art Break works great at a brew-pub, winery, coffee shop, in a private home, or in a conference room. A class includes everything needed for each person to create their own masterpiece: easels, studio quality paints and brushes, canvases, smocks and palettes, and step-by step instruction. No art experience is necessary! Beginners are welcomed and encouraged. Connie conducts public events, private parties, team-building and corporate events, and fundraisers.
