Ballet Excel Ohio

Ballet excel Ohio was founded in 1975 by Nan Klinger.  Originally named Cuyahoga Valley Youth Ballet after our national park founded the same year. Ballet Excel Ohio educates children in the art of dance through performances choreographed specifically to capture the attention of our audience through clever choreography, costumes and story lines.

Ballet Excel Ohio also has an outreach initiative, Reach Out And Dance, which reaches out to underserved areas of our community and brings accessible dance to children at their schools.  At the end of the school program ignited students are chosen to receive scholarships at our home studio, Nan Klinger Excellence in Dance, where they are immersed in classical ballet training.  We invest in their training through graduation of high school and many have gone on to professional dance careers throughout the world.
