drDOCTOR is a reading series, podcast and literary magazine hosted by Sam Farahmand, Mila Jaroniec and Luke Wiget.

drDOCTOR is the literal child of Sam Farahmand and Luke Wiget, two MFA graduates from The New School who DReamed the impossible DReam of curating a reading series that puts quality above quantity to bring quality to the quantity.

Originally hosted the last Friday of every other month at Mellow Pages Library in Brooklyn, NY, each reading featured three doctors, of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry, with just the right amount of mingling in between. The series brought together the literary community in NYC and sought to reach a larger audience with a podcast of the readings, including author interviews and much more.

Since its inception as a reading series and podcast, drDOCTOR has expanded into an online journal of nonfiction and soon-to-be-in-print literary magazine, curated by Dr. Mila Jaroniec.
