The Academy of Culture and Arts @ St. Sebastian Parish

The Academy of Culture and Arts @ St. Sebastian Parish offers arts and cultural courses to persons of all ages so as to encourage the education, engagement and influencing of our society through the arts and cultural experiences .  We are located at St. Sebastian Parish in West Akron and serve the area by providing private music lessons on Piano, Violin, Guitar, Voice and Winds as well as instruction in Spanish Language, Visual Arts, Dance, and Martial Arts for kids.  We are also in the process of forming one of the only community-based Steel Drum Band programs in the area.  One of our unique offerings is the Ohio Conservatory–a musicianship training class that includes Solfege, ear training, keyboard skills, conducting, music theory and composition and movement to music focused on kids from 4-14.  One of the  main goals of the Ohio Conservatory  is to enrich the musical world of young musicians as they prepare for more serious study on an instrument or voice.
