Thursday's Lounge

Thursday’s Lounge is Akron, Ohio’s favorite place for dancing, hanging out, and live entertainment. Established in 1983 on The University of Akron’s main strip, Thursday’s Lounge has accomodated thousands of bargoers throughout the years. It’s loud, it’s old and it’s awesome. Thursday’s has a great “pub-like” atmosphere yet has the immenities of great dance club and live music venue. Thursday’s has been run by the same family since its inception.

Since 1983, Thursdays’s has been expanded three times and has seen many face lifts. Begining in late 2013, thirty years after it opened, Thursday’s is at again. Thursday’s features large outdoor patios, parking, a punishing sound system, and a capacity of around 300 people. We also have a Sunday liquor license.
