David Weyrick is from Akron, Ohio, and began putting on puppet shows at the age of four. By the time he reached seventh grade, he wanted to be a ventriloquist. David then took a slight break, about four decades, and is now back performing for schools. churches, retirement communities, organizations, and galas. David was a high school band and drama director before answering a call to ministry and has served as a pastor for more than thirty years. At the 2015 International Ventriloquist ConVENTion, David was awarded Second Place in the People’s Choice Award.
