FUZE! Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis

Presented by Tuesday Musical Association at EJ Thomas Performing Arts Hall - University of Akron

The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, led by Wynton Marsalis, is made up of 15 of the finest musicians in jazz music today.

Proclaimed “the finest big band in the world” by Great Britain’s Daily Telegraph, JLCO draws from original compositions by Mr. Marsalis, Ted Nash, and other members of the orchestra, plus the masterworks of Ellington, Mingus, Coltrane and other greats.

This concert is generously supported by Frances Yates Bittle as part of a yearlong celebration of The University of Akron Jazz Studies Program’s 40th anniversary and the Bittle Jazz Artist- in-Residence Series’ 15th anniversary. It is also part of The University of Akron’s Kulas Concert Series.
