Our mission:

Dynamics Community Theater of Tallmadge is a non-profit, volunteer-based, non-professional theater company which promotes and supports the theater arts in Tallmadge and in the surrounding community.  We are proud of a mutual, cooperative relationship with Tallmadge City Schools in whose outstanding facilities we prepare and perform.  DCT’s mission is to teach, practice and present excellent stagecraft in a creative, encouraging environment. We foster camaraderie within families and among persons of differing ages and skill levels. We bring positive, entertaining and culturally enriching live performances to Tallmadge and the community at large.

We provide an opprtunity for volunteers of all ages to come together, get to know each other, and work to put on a successful performing arts production.  We typically perform three full productions each year: a summer musical, a Christmas show, and a spring play.

Auditions for our shows are held 6-8 weeks before a production.  There are usually a variety of roles for different ages.  These roles range from major roles to ensemble parts.  If you are just getting started in theater, or want to give it a try, the ensemble parts are a great way to get started.

If you want to be a part of the theater, but your not interested in acting on stage there are ways you can help out.  There are many opportunities for behind-the-scenes activities, including set construction, costuming, or being part of the stage crew.  There are plenty of opportunities to put your creativity to work.
